古语有云,读万卷书,不如行万里路。
不过在这次的斯里兰卡高尔文艺节,行万里路,等于读万卷书。
作家Juliet Coombe写了一本介绍高尔城堡的书,《 Around the Fort in 80 Lives》。为了在高尔文艺节推广这本书,书中介绍的所有具体地址和场景,都由李奥贝纳布置上了页码,两相对照,情趣顿生。这既让此书落地,又让人们眼中看到的场景有了一点浪漫和虚幻的感觉。
以后,不只是READ A BOOK,更可以RIDE A BOOK了!
Ride A Book was an activation done to promote the book "Around the Fort in 80 Lives' by Juliet Coombe during the Galle Literary Festival, an annual event in Sri Lanka attracting approx. 5000 writers & readers from all over the world. We placed large page numbers around the area, to let visitors feel they were inside a book. On the day of the event, they were taken from page number to page number in a train of three wheelers. Each page in the book told the location's story.
